Itinerary:


6.00 AM Start the tour with an early pick-up, you will be picked up at the hotel and then go to Hoan Kiem

Lake where you will have the opportunity to see Hanoians,the young and the old, doing exercise,Tai Chi,

and jogging.  

You are welcomed to join the activities, if you would like.If not, just do morning exercise on your own,

Before Paying a visit Hang Trong street, you can capture some of the best photos of your trip because it

is the sunrise time in the early morning.

Wandering along the Hang Trong street then turning left to Nha Tho street, then you and the guide will

visit the St. Joseph Cathedral. At this time, the shop is still closed, less traffic and you can still hear the

bell from the church. Stopover for photo shoots before continuing your journey through Ly Quoc Su, Hang

Manh, Hang Non and Hang Thiec to Bat Dan Street to experience a very “Hanoi style” breakfast at Pho

Gia Truyen – 49 Bat Dan (considered as the most famous beef noodles in Hanoi).

From early in the morning, local people queue in line waiting for their turn to buy a bowl of beef noodle.

Give it a try! Remember to queue in line, get the money ready to order the dish you want, take it from the

staff and find a table to serve yourself.

When your stomach is warm up with a hot bowl of noodles, walk back to your hotel. You will see more

cars, buses and especially motorbikes and the shops along the ways start opening one by one.

End the tour at your hotel around 9.00 Am

Enjoy a free city tour to see the daily life of the local people and the sunset in the oldest bridge in Hanoi,

Long Bien.

We will start our tour with a stop at the largest covered market of Hanoi. There, you will see how the

locals make their livings and the wholesale traders sell everything from clothes, household goods to

foodstuffs. And then, we will visit Quan Chuong city gate representing a beauty of Hanoi 1000 years old.

Designed by architects, birth father of Eiffel tower, Long Bien Bridge has been a part of the capital Hanoi

for more than 1000 years. While walking through the bridge, we will capture locals working with the

sunset reflecting off their boats in the river.

Follow the guide and capture what Vietnam is really about.

We will take a taxi to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex, where the preserved body of Ho Chi Minh—founder of unified Vietnam—lies memorialized in a glass sarcophagus guarded by four soldiers for public viewing. Located to the west of the Old Quarter, the austere and impressive monuments loom over botanical gardens and pagodas. Near the mausoleum, one of the nation’s most revered sites, you’ll find the Ho Chi Minh Museum, dedicated to the life and work of ‘Uncle Ho,’ as he is affectionately known in Vietnam.
Continue to One Pillar Pagoda, a historical Buddhist temple, considered one of Vietnam's most iconic. Then, head to the 11th-century Temple of Literature, one of several temples in Vietnam that are dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars.
Finally, we will pay a visit to Temple of Literature, built in 1070 as Vietnam’s first university. In the temple you will be exploring five courtyards and a small museum, checking out the stone stelae, where those who passed the notoriously difficult exams have their names engraved.

This half-day city tour is the perfect way to discover “Small Vietnam” in Hanoi.  You will have the chance to visit 3 special destinations representing the local life, religions, and the wars against France and the US in 20th century.
We will begin our day trip with a visit to Hoan Kiem lake which is the heart of Hanoi, where you will be told about the outline of Vietnamese’s lifestyle look. Beautifully situated in the center of Hanoi, there are a lot of legends about Vietnam dating between the 10th and 15th centuries.
You will continue your trip to St. Joseph’s Cathedral (the biggest church in Hanoi) where you will see the beauty of 100-year-old church built by French and learn more about the diversity of religions in Vietnam.
Vietnam is very famous for the wars against France and the US in the 20 century. Our visit to Hoa Lo prison, whereJohn McCain-  United States Senator  was arrested for 5 years, will give you a deep understanding of what happened in these wars, how political prisoners were treated by series of evil tortures.
